Founder-led architecture and engineering studio
Architecture, technical strategy, and senior engineering delivery for teams making high-stakes software decisions.
Celesta Flow works with founders and product teams on architecture advisory, practical AI, and hands-on delivery.
Who we are
A studio built around senior judgment, not headcount.
Celesta Flow is a Texas-based software and architecture studio led by Dawood Moazzem. We advise, design, and deliver.
You work directly with the founder, not a sales layer or an anonymous delivery team. When the work needs more hands, we bring in senior specialists.
Everyone who touches your work applies the same four principles. When priorities compete, this order wins:
Who we help
Founders and teams facing technical commitments that are expensive to reverse.
The work usually starts with an architecture, vendor, product, automation, or delivery choice. We work remotely.
What we provide
Four kinds of work. Three ways to engage.
After a first call, we agree on the scope, working model, and price before work begins.
01
Architecture Advisory & Design
We provide software, system, domain, data, integration, cloud, and enterprise architecture. AI makes code cheap to write, which makes these decisions matter more, not less. Bad architecture compounds into hidden costs and business risk.
You get architecture reviews with documented trade-offs and decision records, target-state designs, domain and data models, modernization plans, and platform roadmaps.
Bring us in when a decision is expensive to reverse, a system is straining as you grow, your data is scattered across tools and no one trusts the reporting, or your systems have outgrown ad-hoc decisions.
02
Engineering & Delivery
Hands-on implementation for prototypes, integrations, modernization, backend systems, platform work, and technical rescue. Delivered by the founder, with senior specialists when needed.
You get working software: a prototype that answers a real question, an integration or modernization milestone, or work taken through to production.
Bring us in when the thing must ship, and still needs to be maintainable a year later.
03
Product & Technical Strategy
Senior technical judgment before you commit: product strategy, MVP scoping, technical due diligence, build-vs-buy, vendor evaluation, and technical roadmaps.
You get something concrete you can act on: a due-diligence report, a decision memo, an MVP scope, or a roadmap.
Bring us in before you commit to a build, a vendor, an investment, or a product direction.
04
AI & Automation
Practical AI in real products and workflows: LLM and agent integration, internal process automation, and AI strategy grounded in what actually works. Everything AI-assisted ships with senior review, and we'll tell you when AI is the wrong tool.
You get an AI-adoption assessment, an automation plan, or a working integration.
Bring us in when you suspect AI could save you time or improve your product, and you want a practitioner's read, not hype.
05
Engagement formats
Senior technical expertise, in the shape you need it: a fixed-scope project, an advisory retainer, or fractional CTO and ongoing technical leadership.
You get the same senior judgment in every format. A retainer keeps it on call; fractional leadership embeds it in your team.
Start with whichever shape is closest. Engagements move between formats as the work changes.
We're not a fit for helpdesk support, commodity staff augmentation, big-bench outsourcing, or lowest-rate vendor selection.

Three things we won't compromise on.
Founder-led.
The person you talk to is the person who does the work.
Architecture-first, delivery-capable.
Advice grounded in real implementation, from review to build without a handoff.
Clear scope.
We define the decision, artifact, or shipping milestone before the work starts.
About the founder
Celesta Flow is led by Dawood Moazzem, an architect and builder whose background spans systems, domain, and data architecture and SaaS development. He's built for complex domains and at enterprise scale, from thermodynamics and oil & gas to Fortune 50 e-commerce, fintech, and genomics.
He started Celesta Flow to build useful products, and to help a few teams at a time make sound technical decisions.

- Seven years on Dell.com, a Fortune 50 e-commerce platform, from 2017 to 2023, finishing as a senior engineering manager leading the global cart and checkout engineering teams
- Built genetic testing platforms at Family Tree DNA, with work spanning genomics, data flows, and production software delivery
- Earlier architecture and engineering leadership across process safety, oil and gas, thermodynamics, fintech, SaaS, and cloud platforms
- MS in Computer Science, University of Houston Clear Lake
FAQ
Common questions.
What does Celesta Flow do?
We provide software architecture, product and technical strategy, AI and automation consulting, and hands-on engineering support for founders and small product teams.
Who do you work with?
Early-stage and growing companies that need senior technical judgment before (or between) full-time technical leadership. Remote-first, US-based.
What does a fractional CTO actually do?
The technical leadership a full-time CTO would provide (architecture direction, build-vs-buy calls, roadmaps, vendor and hiring input), scoped to the hours you actually need.
What does a typical engagement look like?
A first call, an agreed scope, and a concrete deliverable your team can use. Engagements are fixed scope by default. A limited number of advisory or fractional-leadership arrangements run month to month, by availability.
How is pricing structured?
Three formats: fixed-scope projects, advisory retainers, and a limited number of fractional-leadership arrangements. Each is scoped per engagement after the first call.
Do you advise, or build too?
Both. Some clients need a decision reviewed; others need the thing built. Engagements scale from advice-only to full delivery.
Do you replace our engineering team?
No. We augment, advise, or lead specific work, and make your existing team stronger, not dependent.
Can you work with our existing stack and vendors?
Yes. Reviews and roadmaps meet your system where it is; recommendations account for what you already run and know.
How do you use AI in your work?
As process, not magic: AI-assisted workflows accelerate delivery, and everything ships with senior review. We'll also tell you when AI is the wrong tool.
Who owns the work?
You do. Work product belongs to the client unless we agree otherwise, and we'll sign an NDA before discovery if needed.

Have a project, or a technical decision you're weighing?
Tell us a little about what you're working on. Every serious inquiry gets a reply, and if there's a fit, we'll set up a focused first conversation. No hard sell.
We take on a small number of active engagements, so the senior work stays senior.
